Dr Polyvios Demetriades is a Cardiology Consultant at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Barts Heart Centre, London, United Kingdom. He has the highest level of accreditation in all cardiovascular imaging modalities (CMR, Cardiac CT and advanced echocardiography). He has special interest in Red Cell Disorders (Thalassaemia) and with his work with the Thalassaemia International Federation, Opsis cardiac MRI has been declared as the only reference centre for iron measurement in Cyprus.
