Radiologist Technologist

Natalia Kourti holds a degree in Radiologic Technology – Radiotherapy from the School of Health and Welfare Professions of the Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Athens and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Medical Physics – Radiophysics from the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. As part of her postgraduate studies, she completed her thesis on: “Patient Radiation Dose from Computed Tomography Examinations – Dose Optimization Measures,” applying her research to clinical cases using specialized dose calculation software.

She holds professional licenses as a Radiologic Technologist and Radiation Therapist, as well as a Medical Physicist License. She is also a registered member of the Cyprus Council of Medical Physicists.

From 2020 to 2023, she worked at the GOC Medical Center (formerly German Oncology Center) in Cyprus, in the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. There, she gained extensive experience in a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures. She was actively involved in biopsies under MRI and CT guidance, as well as ablation techniques for the treatment of neoplastic lesions. She also developed strong clinical familiarity with oncology patients, contributing to the radiological support of oncological cases.

Since May 2023, she has been working at Opsis Medical Imaging, a modern diagnostic center in Cyprus, in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging. She specializes in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), performing the full spectrum of MRI studies, with a particular focus and expertise in Cardiac MRI. Cardiovascular imaging is her main scientific and clinical area of interest, in which she maintains ongoing hands-on experience and technical proficiency, supporting the execution of specialized cardiac imaging protocols.
